NEW!
COMPETITION
Dear colleagues
As promised, here is the information on the study visits of Ph.D. candidates to the University of Seville.
We are thinking of Ph.D. candidates that will probably be candidates to be future assistant professors at the university, and a maximum of 2 people per institution.
At the first stage, the candidates selected by each beneficiary institution have to send a proposal of the research to be undertaken and we will try to match the student with a supervisor over here. If there is no match the person will not be able to travel.
The maximum per diem allowed by Tempus for 2 weeks is €600; and for a full month €1,200, plus the trip.
With this little money the only option is to stay in one US University Residence.
For that reason, the visits have to take place in July, when most students are gone on holidays.
For the month of July, the only US Residence open is the University Residence Estanislao del Campo (http://www.rusevilla.com/). Double rooms are €544,40 per person per month. Individual rooms are 709,81 per person per month. Full board (3 meals) are another €443,10 per person per month.
6. For the month of August, the only option is other residence at the city centre, Santa Ana. (http://sta-ana.com/). One has to ask for the prices, but they will be more or less similar.
Best regards,
Prof. Miguel Adamme,
Seville University
Dear colleages
We are working in the Library Gateway, a selection of links to open sources (books, papers, databases) that are available for free for research.
Their use can significantly improve internationalization of your institution. Once finished, you could link the page to your own library webpage or directly incorporate the resources.
Please, find a preview in http://institucional.us.es/tempusicaen/open/
Best regards,
Prof. Miguel Adamme,
Seville University

3. For conferences
2013 Online Conference on Social Sciences
29th to 31st March 2013
Online
Online conference is an emerging conference organisational form which has brought a series of revolutionary changes to the traditional conference. Traditional conference requires participants to travel and stay in a particular place. It is a time-consuming and costly process. You won't miss any presentations you are interested in and have adequate time to share your insights with other delegates.
AICEI aims to build a platform allowing scholars, researchers, and professionals who are interested in sharing their studies from various perspectives in the aspects of social sciences, including: Culture, Education, Communication, Psychology, Population Health, Society and so forth. All theoretical, empirical, and practical papers in the above fields (but not strictly limited) are all highly welcomed. Please refer to the website: www.auaicei.com for more detailed information.
