On April 16, 2026 within the framework of Mother Language week, a public lecture was given by Mr. Otar Janelidze on the fight for Mother Language rights -1978 April events. Professor gave a detailed and thorough account of the day, significance and impact of the event etc. a discussion took place after the lecture. Mother Language week will end on April 17th.
