International Art Festival -Matchabeli

On July 21-22-23 GSTU organized the International Art Festival -Matchabeli, a winner of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth contest. Festival offered audiences various activities, masterclasses and meetings, led by Georgian and foreign artists.

July 21st:

Opening day. Honored guests of the festival: Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Mrs. Nunu Mitskevich, Mr. Zaza Maruashvili, Mr. Ioseb Chumburidze, Mr. Shota Rekhviashvili, father Giorgi Karelidze, Mr. Abel Abesadze, Mr. Lado Khinchegashvili, Mr. David Razmadze, Mr. Roland Kopalian, invited guests, Gori Society, GSTU teachers, lecturers and students
GSTU jazz-band “Kanudos” performed at the festival
Word Famous painter and photographer Mr. Anri Machavariani gave a masterclass for art lovers
Second part of the day, Gori painter Mr. Kakha Topchishvili gave a masterclass on Anniversary coins and design.
Giorgi Khaindrava’s masterclass “ Cinema Documentary” ended first day of the festival.
