International Science Day

On November 10, 2023 active rector Mr. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili gave a brief review of the university's plans and activities, projects, visions, etc. and pointed out the significance of science and achievements in the field for human mankind.  during the meeting, dedicated to World Science Day. Prof. Lela Aleksidze, Prof. Marika Sherazadishvili, Prof. Ani Imnadze also congratulated the audience.  Mr. Giorgi Mghebrishvili, coordinator of Horizon Europe  and Mr. Zurab Zurabashvili gave a presentation of informative nature on local, international and Horizon Europe scientific Grant competition. Within the framework of the event, the university hosted an activity cycle- Science for Schools, where GSTU biology and information technology students participated along with school students and teachers of  public school N 3,4,6 and villages: Bershueti and Kv. Sobisi. Mrs. Tinatin Iosebidze, Tamar Beridze and Mr. Zurab Papiashvili supervised an experiment on testing dairy products, the experiment is the winner of the project “ The negative effect of Antibiotics  on milk quality in Shida Kartli, the project, where school students participated was supported by National Scientific Fund of Georgia.
