On April 13,2016, a meeting was held at GSTU , dedicated to the Georgian language day. Prof. Vianor Akhalaia and Giorgi Gogolashvili talked about the importance of the day when they remembered riots of 1978 and the role of students achievements in the history of Georgian people and the Georgian language. They asked students to be more vigilant of keeping the norms of the language and using them in everyday life
