On June 26, 2014 Metropolitan of Gori and Ateni Andria (Gvazava) held a public lecture on "The Church and Moral Life” at Gori State Teaching University.

During the lecture Metropolitan Andria spoke extensively on several issues, including: the importance of Christianity in the formation and maintenance of the Georgian State, the Georgian Church's role in the development of material and spiritual culture, Georgian traditions and current problems.

At the meeting, among the attendants were the Rector of Gori State Teaching University Prof. Dr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, representatives of Gori and Ateni Eparchy, Gori University professors, students and invited guests.
