On September 21,2015, new academic year has started at Gori State Teaching University. Rector of the university, professor Giorgi Sosiashvili greeted students and teachers at the ceremony. In his speech he resumed last year’s achievements and talked about new academic year’s plans and challenges . Other speeches were made by Giorgi Khorbaladze,-Head of Administration; David Chochishvili,-Dean of the Faculty of Education , Exact and Natural sciences; Nugzar Abramishvili,-Dean of the Faculty of Social sciences, Business and Jurisprudence; Ketevan Barbakadze,- Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and professor Eldar Mamistvalashvili. Melanie Baker, -English teacher at Maryland University will be working at Gori State Teaching University within the project of American Embassy .She , also, made a speech at the ceremony and wished the students successful and productive year. Mariam Shatakishvili, Sopio Mezvrishvili and Rusudan Dalakishvili,- students of the University also made speeches at the ceremony.
