During the discussion parties reviewed details of the planned international scientific conference “Children’s’ rights and safe school environment” and UNICEF’s involvement in future activities.

The significant fact is that this center is the first one in Shida Kartli region. The center will be a great supporter for Shida Kartli specialists, human rights defenders, academics and citizens, teachers, parents to raise awareness on children’s rights.

With UNICEF’s support 15 training-modules have been taking place at GSTU for school teachers and students, GSTU academic personnel and invited persons.
