On march 23, 2016 Polish delegation visited GSTU. Polish ambassador, deputy minister of foreign affairs, Head of the research center of eastern Europe , professor of Warsaw university and honorable professor of Gori university and representatives of Embassy of Poland. Memorandum of collaboration  was signed by rector of the university, prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili and head of the research center of eastern Europe  Ian Malitski. According to this memorandum 7 successful students will be able to continue their studies In Warsaw university  and ten thousand books will be given to GSTU for free. Minister of foreign affairs expressed his willingness to support the and strengthen  friendship between two universities and two cities.
