presentation of two books

On April 18, 2022 a presentation of two books was held at the Scientific-Research Center of History and Archeology, GSTU.

1. M. Matsaberidze, 1921 Constitution of Georgia: Constitution Building and Ratification, Concept of Creating the Government, Tbilisi, 2022;

2. Nationalism. Encyclopedic Reference, Tbilisi, 2022.

The 1921 constitution describes a unique experience of building an independent country. It depicts the State's life and goals at that time. Mr. Malkhaz Matsaberidze, an author of the book, tells us the story of how the document was created, describing each step of the creation.

The Encyclopedic Reference book is of an interdisciplinary nature. It accumulates a vast scope of terminology and notions, used in social and humanitarian sciences and greatly discussed among international academic circles. The book also considers local context and describes important notions and conceptual provisions for Georgia.

Authors: Ivane Tsereteli, Irakli Chkhaidze, Malkhaz Matsaberidze, David Matsaberidze.

Institute of Political Studies prepared and published both books, with financial support from Shota Rustaveli National Fund.

Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Eldar Mamistvalishvili, Giorgi Khorbaladze, Malkhaz Matsaberidze, Otar Janelidze, Vaja Chochia, Irakli Chkhaidze, Tamar Orjonikide reviewed books during the meeting.
