Project “ Civic Engagement School 2022” has started

Within the framework of the project, two-day training took place in Tbilisi for Tbilis, Gori, Telavi participants. The aim of the project is to plan participant advocacy campaigns and to give them necessary skills for civic engagement. Participants discussed the main idea, objectives, types and methods of advocacy and their role in raising awareness. They pointed out communication strategies and determining the concept of target audience. Training comprised various examples that helped participants to better understand theory of the learning material. Final stage of the training was project writing and issues concerning the topic. Participants worked in groups and discussed details of the task. Experience will help them to implement future projects successfully and efficiently.
The training was the final step of the first stage. The next stage comprises workshops. Acquired knowledge will help participants to implement civic engagement projects in future. The project is fulfilled with financial aid from Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Caucasus Office, GSTU students, among Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdid, Telavi university peers participated in the project.
