Informational Meeting and Debate at Gori State Teaching University

On May 22, 2014 within the framework of the information campaign for Youth Voters, an informational meeting and debate by the representations of the Central Election Commission was held at Gori State Teaching University.

The following issues were discussed:

  • Importance of Elections
  • History of Elections in Georgia
  • Local Self-Government Election 2014
  • Election Procedures

Within the framework of the information meeting Karl Popper Debate was held for the students and the resolution was that Elections are the only guarantee of democracy.

Law faculty students actively participated in the debate and the winner was revealed.
