On November 25, 2014 the 6th Scientific Conference dedicated to the Catholicos-Patriarch of all Georgia Saint Priest Martyr Kirion II, jointly organized by Gori University and Gori and Ateni Diocese was held at Gori State Teaching University.
 The conference was launched with the opening remarks, made by the Metropolitan of Gori and Ateni Andria (Gvazava) and the Rector of Gori State Teaching University Prof. Dr. Giorgi Sosiashvili.
 At the plenary session the papers were read by the Metropolitan Andria, Gori University Rector Prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Ilia State University Associate researcher Tamar Meskhi, Gori University Professors Eldar Mamistvalishvili, Tamila Gogoladze, Associate Prof. Ioseb Alimbarashvili, Prof. Nana Burtchuladze (National Museum of Georgia) and Dr. Eka Dughashvili and Dr. Maka Shaorshadze (National Centre of Manuscripts).

After the plenary session the work was going in sections.
