On February 10, 2023 the Center of History and Archeology  along with the faculty of Humanities hosted the 9th international scientific conference, dedicated to David Aghmashenebeli. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Mrs. Nunu Mitskevich, Mr. Roland Kopalian, Mr. David Jalaghonia, Mr. Sergo Vardosanidze, Mrs. Basti Bekirova, Mr. Eldar Mamistvalishvili gave brief speeches and wished participants an interesting and successful working process. 38 theses were presented by the representatives of TSU, Institute of History and Ethnography, Ilia State University , Giorgi Tsereteli Institute of Oriental Studies, Akaki Tsereteli University, Batumi State University , Samtskhe-Javakheti State University , Telavi State University, Sokhumi State University , Grigol Robakidze University , Georgian Literary Institute, St. Tamar University of Patriarchate of Georgia, National Center of Manuscripts, Samtavro Nunnery, National Museum of Georgia, Kutaisi State Historical Museum, Khashuri Municipality Museum Union, 19th of May university (Tukrey), National Academy of Azerbaijan, Caucasus Research institute, Science Academy of Poland, Institute of Political Research, Tokyo Metropolitan University (Japan). After plenary meetings the work was carried out into sections.
