Working meeting

On November 22, 2022 Mrs. Nunu Mitskevich and H.E.Ms. Ana Siko, the ambassador of Hungary met with regional university rectors in the International Center of Education. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili attended the meeting as a standing committee conference member. Rectors were informed on the center's scholarship programs and parties discussed collaboration perspectives of foreseeable future. Mrs. Mitskevich also revised possibilities of students' involvement in the scholarship program as within the programs framework, there is a possibility that students will be given financial support to continue their studies abroad. She accentuated the importance of regional universities’ involvement in such projects. Ms. Ana Siko reviewed experiences of successful collaboration within the scope of Georgian-Hungarian scholarship programs. The program is fulfilled on the basis of the memorandum between the ministry of Education and Science and the ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary. Mrs. Nino Sulava gave a presentation on scholarship programs, deadlines and procedures of existing programs and Mrs. Lika Nozadze informed participants on future plans and renewed visions and approaches on vocational programs. Representatives of regional universities expressed their willingness for active and effective involvement in the project.
