On September 29 - October 3, 2014 within the Tempus Project -544191 Tempus 1-2013-1-PT JPCR - regarding the development of the tourism industry in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Moldova, the Georgian delegation with the participation of the Ministry of Education and Science, Gori State Teaching University, Georgian Technical University, Teaching University "Gorgasali", Georgian Tourism Association, Hotel "Old Metekhi", Georgian National Tourism Agency, paid a working visit to France. The Delegation from Gori University included the University Rector, Prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili and the Head of International Relations Office / International Project Manager Ruizan Mekvabidze. Working meetings were held in the following cities: Thonon-les-Bains, Evian and Bourges. The main goal was the development of degree programs in management of hotel operations.
