On April 30, 2014 Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze and Deputy Minister Giorgi Sharvashidze visited Gori State Teaching University.

The meeting focused on the changes of infrastructure carried out by the University. They met with the students and professors. The meeting proceeded in a question-answer mode. The minister spoke about the ongoing reforms in the education sector and answered the students’ questions.

 Among the attendants was the governor of the Shida Kartli Region - Zurab Rusishvili.
