On 12 December 2025, Gori State University hosted the second training session on “EU Social Justice” within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chairs.
The training was opened by Davit Kvernadze, Head of the Administration/Chancellor of Gori State University. An overview of the Jean Monnet Chairs and the activities already implemented was presented by Eka Kardava, Head of the Jean Monnet Chairs. Members of the Chairs addressed the audience and spoke about the thematic focus of the training: Tsiuri Duruli, Professor at Gori State University and Head of the Academic Process Management Office; Marika Sherazadishvili, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Law; Giorgi Mghebrishvili, Head of the Horizon Office at Gori State University and a doctoral candidate; and Khatia Khabashvili, Head of the Gori State University Youth Hub.
The audience was presented with a demonstration of the initiatives implemented under the Chairs, including the screening of videos prepared within its framework.

1. EU Education Policy
2. EU Policy on Cultural Diversity
3. Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU
4. Leadership and Organizational Behaviour
5. EU Competition Policy, the Internal Market, and Consumer Rights
6. EU Labour Law
7. EU Youth Policy
The training was attended by academic and administrative staff of Gori State University, students, and representatives of various professional communities. A total of 60 participants were present.
